How it works of ALNASE–P 10
- Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It reduces pain, swelling and fever by blocking the COX enzymes that make prostaglandins.
- Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic. It reduces fever and pain by acting on the brain’s pain and temperature centres.
Dosage of ALNASE–P 10
- Take as prescribed by the doctor, usually with a glass of water.
- Follow the dose, timing and duration on the prescription — do not stop early or take extra doses.
- If a dose is missed, take it when remembered unless the next dose is due; do not double up.
Side effects of ALNASE–P 10
- Stomach pain, heartburn or nausea
- Dizziness
- Swelling or raised blood pressure with long use
- Nausea (rare)
- Skin rash (rare)
- Dizziness or drowsiness
- Seek medical help at once for signs of a severe allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face or difficulty breathing
Precautions of ALNASE–P 10
- Take after food
- Tell the doctor about stomach ulcers, kidney, liver or heart disease
- Avoid in late pregnancy
- Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time
- Do not take with other paracetamol-containing medicines
- Avoid alcohol; tell the doctor about liver disease
- Use only on the advice of a registered medical practitioner; tell the doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking other medicines
Storage of ALNASE–P 10
Store as printed on the pack, generally in a cool, dry place below 30°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
