How it works of EDRUCEF 500
Cefuroxime is a cephalosporin antibiotic. It kills bacteria by stopping them from building their cell wall.
Dosage of EDRUCEF 500
- Take as prescribed by the doctor, usually with a glass of water.
- Follow the dose, timing and duration on the prescription — do not stop early or take extra doses.
- If a dose is missed, take it when remembered unless the next dose is due; do not double up.
Side effects of EDRUCEF 500
- Diarrhoea, nausea or stomach upset
- Skin rash or itching
- Pain or swelling at the injection site (injections)
- Seek medical help at once for signs of a severe allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face or difficulty breathing
Precautions of EDRUCEF 500
- Tell the doctor about any allergy to penicillins or cephalosporins
- Complete the full course even if you feel better
- Dose may need adjusting in kidney disease
