How it works of ICLOSIN-75 SR
Indomethacin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It reduces pain, swelling and fever by blocking the COX enzymes that make prostaglandins.
Dosage of ICLOSIN-75 SR
- Take as prescribed by the doctor, usually with a glass of water.
- Follow the dose, timing and duration on the prescription — do not stop early or take extra doses.
- If a dose is missed, take it when remembered unless the next dose is due; do not double up.
Side effects of ICLOSIN-75 SR
- Stomach pain, heartburn or nausea
- Dizziness
- Swelling or raised blood pressure with long use
- Seek medical help at once for signs of a severe allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face or difficulty breathing
Precautions of ICLOSIN-75 SR
- Take after food
- Tell the doctor about stomach ulcers, kidney, liver or heart disease
- Avoid in late pregnancy
- Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time
