How it works of RIVE-IT
- Rabeprazole is a proton-pump inhibitor. It reduces stomach acid by blocking the proton pumps in the stomach lining.
- Itopride is a prokinetic. It helps the stomach empty faster and reduces nausea and bloating.
Dosage of RIVE-IT
- Apply to the affected area as directed by the doctor, usually as a thin layer.
- Wash hands before and after use.
- For external use only — avoid the eyes, mouth and broken skin unless advised.
Side effects of RIVE-IT
- Headache
- Diarrhoea, nausea or wind
- Stomach pain
- Dry mouth
- Drowsiness
- Seek medical help at once for signs of a severe allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face or difficulty breathing
Precautions of RIVE-IT
- Usually taken before a meal
- Long-term use may lower vitamin B12, magnesium or bone strength — use as directed
- Tell the doctor about heart-rhythm problems
- Avoid in pregnancy unless advised
- Use only on the advice of a registered medical practitioner; tell the doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking other medicines
Storage of RIVE-IT
Store as printed on the pack, generally in a cool, dry place below 30°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
