Uses of SUCAN-O
- A combination of Sucralfate and Oxetacaine in one liquid.
- Stomach and duodenal ulcers

How it works of SUCAN-O
- Sucralfate is an antacid. It forms a protective coating over ulcers so they can heal.
- Oxetacaine is a local anaesthetic for the stomach lining. It neutralises excess stomach acid and relieves acidity, heartburn and gas.
Dosage of SUCAN-O
- Measure each dose with the cup, spoon or dropper provided — never a household spoon.
- Shake well before use if it is a suspension.
- The dose is decided by the doctor, often based on age or body weight; follow the prescription and the label.
Side effects of SUCAN-O
- Constipation or loose stools
- Seek medical help at once for signs of a severe allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face or difficulty breathing
Precautions of SUCAN-O
- Take apart from other medicines by about two hours
- Tell the doctor about kidney disease
- Use only on the advice of a registered medical practitioner; tell the doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking other medicines
Storage of SUCAN-O
Store as printed on the pack, generally in a cool, dry place below 30°C, protected from light. Keep the bottle tightly closed; once a dry syrup is mixed, use within the period stated on the pack.
