Uses of DAMCLID-AD
- A combination of Clindamycin and Adapalene in one preparation.
- Acne (topical)
- Skin, bone, dental and anaerobic infections

How it works of DAMCLID-AD
- Clindamycin is a lincosamide antibiotic. It stops bacteria from making the proteins they need to grow.
- Adapalene is a topical retinoid. It unclogs pores and reduces acne formation.
Dosage of DAMCLID-AD
- Apply to the affected area as directed by the doctor, usually as a thin layer.
- Wash hands before and after use.
- For external use only — avoid the eyes, mouth and broken skin unless advised.
Side effects of DAMCLID-AD
- Stomach pain, nausea or diarrhoea
- Headache
- Redness, dryness or irritation where applied
- Seek medical help at once for signs of a severe allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face or difficulty breathing
Precautions of DAMCLID-AD
- Report severe or persistent diarrhoea
- Topical forms are for external use only
- Tell the doctor about liver disease or heart-rhythm problems
- Complete the prescribed course
- For external use only — avoid the eyes and mouth
- Use sunscreen during treatment
- Use only on the advice of a registered medical practitioner; tell the doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking other medicines
Storage of DAMCLID-AD
Store as printed on the pack, generally in a cool, dry place below 30°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
