Uses of VUTHKETO-5X
- A combination of Ketoconazole, Tolnaftate, Neomycin and Clobetasol in one preparation.
- Dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis

How it works of VUTHKETO-5X
- Ketoconazole is a topical antifungal. It stops the growth of fungi on the skin by damaging their cell membrane.
- Tolnaftate is a topical antifungal. It stops the growth of fungi on the skin by damaging their cell membrane.
- Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. It kills bacteria by blocking their protein production.
- Clobetasol is a topical corticosteroid. It reduces redness, swelling and itching of the skin by calming local inflammation.
Dosage of VUTHKETO-5X
- Apply to the affected area as directed by the doctor, usually as a thin layer.
- Wash hands before and after use.
- For external use only — avoid the eyes, mouth and broken skin unless advised.
Side effects of VUTHKETO-5X
- Mild burning, itching or redness where applied
- Skin irritation or allergy where applied
- Kidney effects
- Hearing or balance problems with prolonged use
- Burning or stinging where applied
- Thinning of the skin with long use
- Seek medical help at once for signs of a severe allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face or difficulty breathing
Precautions of VUTHKETO-5X
- For external use only — avoid the eyes
- Keep using for the full period advised, even after the skin clears
- For external use only on small areas
- Kidney function and hearing are monitored during treatment
- Used under medical supervision
- For external use only — do not use on the face or for long periods unless advised
- Use only on the advice of a registered medical practitioner; tell the doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking other medicines
Storage of VUTHKETO-5X
Store as printed on the pack, generally in a cool, dry place below 30°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
